A remote weightlifting membership is ideal for Olympic weightlifters or powerlifters looking for a coach and program. Remote coaching requires a lot of time and energy, as it is very much like having a personal trainer. Alpha Athletics members have access to an online weightlifting program that accommodates the type of equipment you have access to and will provide feedback during program cycles. Those looking to compete in the sport will have the opportunity to compete for Alpha Barbell which is Alpha Athletics’ competition Olympic weightlifting team. The team is coached by Kevin Simons who has produced multiple youth, junior, and senior level National Champions, international competitors, and world record holders. Having one of the best coaches in the country doesn’t always require you to live within driving distance. Although it is virtual, you will still receive the custom programming and feedback in order to improve in the sport. Members are always welcome to visit in person at Alpha Athletics and compete under Alpha Barbell at competitions. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of a team, without having to train at Alpha Athletics.

Membership price for remote weightlifting will have an added fee before or after a travel competition if you are a competitor for Alpha Barbell to accommodate coach travel to the competition. EX: if you compete at USA Weightlifting’s National Championship week, there will be an added fee to cover the cost of coaching travel for the competition. Price will vary depending on how many people attend the competition.

Membership price will be an added $50 for extra workouts from additional membership categories (Competitive Fitness, Powerlifting, or Olympic weightlifting). EX: Remote weightlifting membership 4x a week: $140 plus added Competitive Fitness workouts would be an added $50 totaling $190.

Members who are enrolled in college will have a reduced rate of $100 a month. Alpha Athletics understands making the transition from high school to college, and the financial responsibilities that come with that stage in life. Athletes must verify enrollment when purchasing this membership. Upon graduation, the year following will resume to the normal remote weightlifting membership rate or one of the in-person memberships if applicable. This membership is to be renewed every 12 months. So if the member graduates during the 12 months membership subscription, they will remain on the student discount until that membership expires (and it would be time to renew again). At that point, members will purchase the applicable membership once their student discount expires.

Additional family members will be an added $125 a month & must be on same billing.
